Planning An Event?
Thinking of hosting an event in Toodyay? Follow these simple steps to get started:
1. Submit an Event Application
Complete the Event Application Form and email it with all required documents to records@toodyay.wa.gov.au (Community Development Team).
2. Discuss Your Event
The Community Development Team will contact you to discuss your event details.
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval.
3. Pay Fees and Bond
Pay all applicable event fees and any required bond in line with the current Fees and Charges
- Event application fee
- Traffic Management approval fee
- Stallholder fees
- Bond for Public Event on Council Reserves
4. Provide Additional Approvals (if required)
Depending on your event, extra permits, licences or approvals may be needed.
5. Receive Event Approval
Once everything is approved and paid for, you will receive an event approval letter and a list of conditions.
6. Hold Your Event
The event takes place as approved. Shire officers may inspect the site for compliance.
7. Event De-brief
Share feedback with the Shire to help improve future events.
