Due to seasonal conditions, the Shire of Toodyay has EXTENDED the RESTRICTED BURNING PERIOD until & including 14/05/2024, with further extension possible. No Burning allowed without a valid permit.

Generally boundary fences do not require approval from the Shire of Toodyay. Fences which front a street within residential areas are required to comply with the Residential Design Codes in addition to the Shire of Toodyay's Local Law Relating to Fencing.
Fences within the Heritage Area are required to obtain planning approval and should comply with the Shire of Toodyay's policy LPP.20 - Central Toodyay Heritage Area.
