Access this reserve from Acacia Close off Sandplain Road. Recommend parking at the end of Acacia Close and walking from there. Don’t be confused by the private property driveways, this is the reserve access easement. The southern part of the reserve is a high ridge line covered in magnificent Powder Bark Wandoo's featuring fine views toward the Avon River Valley. A large part of the northern section was burnt during the bush fire of 2009 but now well regenerated. Most of the bushland is in good condition and offers excellent habitat for many bird species. Wildflowers abound in spring.
