Bolgart Hotel

Built in 1916, the Bolgart Hotel is one of only six state hotels built in Western Australia and is considered a significant piece of Wheatbelt history.

As a community, 16 local families banded together in mid-2020 to purchase the building and breathe some life into the old girl again. Considered vital to preserve the heart of the small community for generations to come; a place to gather during good times and the tough, share stories of the past and make new memories.

If you were 104 years old, you’d be in need of a little TLC too. Wandering through this historic building, visitors will notice it’s undergoing a face lift. Like all good things, it’s going to be a gradual process to restore the hotel to its former glory and maintain the integrity of the original building.

Once complete, the community look forward to bringing exciting new events and unique experiences to locals and welcome those from further afar. In the meantime, the new publicans Craig and Wendy will continue to deliver everything guests could want from a country pub; hearty meals, cold beer on tap and a warm welcome.
