Economic Profile
The Shire of Toodyay is situated in the Avon Valley, less than 90km from the Perth CBD. There is a population of 4,439 persons across 1,692km2 of land. Toodyay produces 12% of the outputs generated within the Avon Valley, and is responsible for 11% of the total jobs. The region’s largest town, Northam, is a short 20 minute drive from Toodyay and accounts for over 66% of the generated outputs and 63% of the total jobs.
