Stargazing

Toodyay's clear night skies allow for amazing star gazing. Once the sun goes down simply look up - the darker your surroundings the better. You do not need to go to any particular site to admire the stars, but here are a couple of suggestions:

Pelham Reserve overlooks the town centre with a breathtaking view any time of day. Arrive early to watch the sunset over the hills and talk a walk along one of the walk tracks. The water tanks can be an interesting back drop for astrophotography.

The town of Toodyay has many historical buildings that look great under the stars. These include Connor's MillNewcastle Gaol, and many shops along the main street.
