In accordance with Section 6.33 and 6.35 of the Local Government Act 1995, the Shire of Toodyay hereby gives notice of its intention to impose differential rates and differential minimum rates on all rateable Gross Rental Value (GRV) residential, commercial, industrial, rural, and rural residential properties, and Unimproved Value (UV) general (including mining) and rural properties within its boundaries, during the 2023/24 financial year.

At a Special Council Meeting held on March 29, Council adopted proposed Local Planning Scheme No. 5 for submission to the Western Australian Planning Commission, with a request for final approval by the Minister for Planning.

At the Ordinary Council Meeting held yesterday, 22 March 2023, Council endorsed a contract for the provision of GP and allied health services at the Alma Beard Medical Centre in Toodyay. Today, Dr Akeem Lawal, the Shire President, and the CEO executed the agreement in a historic signing at the Shire Administration Office.

At the Ordinary Council Meeting on 22 February 2023, Council resolved to adopt the following Local Planning Policies: Signage Outside the Central Toodyay Heritage Area, Directional Signage and Signage Within Thoroughfares, and Non-Habitable Structures.

Notice is hereby given that, under section 6.64 of the Local Government Act 1995, as rates and service charges have been owing for a period of at least 3 years, the Shire of Toodyay is to offer for sale by public auction the land described.

In accordance with Section 6.33 and 6.35 of the Local Government Act 1995, the Shire of Toodyay hereby gives notice of its intention to impose differential rates and differential minimum rates on all rateable Gross Rental Valued (GRV) commercial, industrial, rural and rural residential properties and Unimproved-Valued (UV) rural and mining properties within its boundaries during the 2022/23 financial year.
