Planned Footbridge Closure – Duke Street (over rail line)

When: Monday, 13 October 2025, 9:00am–3:00pm (AWST)

To allow contractors to safely prune trees and complete works at height, the Duke Street footbridge over the train line will be closed to all pedestrian traffic between 9:00am and 3:00pm on Monday, 13 October 2025.

These works have been scheduled to ensure the bridge remains open before and after school hours, allowing students to access school in the morning and return home in the afternoon.

What to expect:

  • Footbridge closed to pedestrians (9:00am–3:00pm)

  • Contractors working with elevated equipment

  • Temporary exclusion zones and traffic control in place

  • Some noise associated with tree pruning

Please plan an alternative route during this period and follow on-site directions from traffic controllers for your safety.
