Community members and organisations are invited to attend on Tuesday, 22 September 2026.
The Shire of Toodyay will host a public hearing conducted by the WA Local Government Grants Commission on Tuesday, 22 September 2026, from 2.45pm to 4.45pm.
The hearing will be held at the Toodyay Recreation Centre, Burt Park Way, Toodyay.
The Commission makes annual recommendations to the State Minister for Local Government regarding the allocation of Financial Assistance Grants to local governments throughout Western Australia.
The hearing will include an overview of the Commission’s role, functions and grant-assessment process, followed by an opportunity to discuss local issues and ask general questions.
Organisations and individuals wishing to make a submission in connection with the Commission’s Financial Assistance Grant recommendations are requested to obtain a submission template and register their interest with the Commission.
