UPDATE: Notice of Temporary Road Closure for Roadworks in October - Bejoording Road

Due to unforeseen circumstances, please be advised there is an update to extensive works on Bejoording Road which will require a section to be closed, details as follows:
  • Bejoording Road will be closed between Sheen Road and Red Gully Road.

  • The closure will be in effect from Monday 6 October to approximately Monday 27 October (3 weeks).

  • We are replacing all the culverts in this section which means the entire width of the road will be dug up, making it impassable for vehicles during this time.

  • Detours are necessary and will be in place for the duration of the works.

  • Contractors will be undertaking the works with assistance from the Shire’s Operations crew.

  • Anyone travelling to Goomalling or Northam will need to go via Long Forrest Road  (NOT Sheen Road) to access Toodyay-Goomalling Road.
