The Lexus Melbourne Cup is on its way to Toodyay!
The Melbourne Cup Tour 2025 has been launched at Flemington Racecourse by Michelle Payne, the first woman to ride to victory in the race that stops a nation. The first stop on the tour was New York City, and the Cup is now on its way back to Australia.
The Shire of Toodyay is excited to announce that the Melbourne Cup trophy will be in Toodyay on Saturday the 10th and Sunday the 11th of August. This will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the 18-carat gold trophy and share in the magic of Australia’s most iconic race, right here in Western Australia’s most iconic town.
The launch of the tour, featuring stories from Michelle Payne and Robbie Dolan, the 2024 winning jockey, can be viewed on Facebook.
