The Shire of Toodyay is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our organisation in a key executive leadership role.

About the Role

Reporting to the CEO, you will:

• Provide strategic leadership across economic development, tourism, recreation and community services
• Lead a multidisciplinary team 
• Drive initiatives that support a vibrant, sustainable local economy
• Strengthen relationships with government, community and industry stakeholders
• Oversee key services including library, visitor centre, museum and community programs

About You

You are a collaborative and forward-thinking leader with:

• Proven experience in economic development and/or community services
• Strong leadership and team management capability
• Strategic planning and stakeholder engagement expertise
• Ability to deliver outcomes aligned with community needs
• Local Government experience (desirable)

The Package

• Contract up to 5 years
• Total remuneration up to $191,000
• Includes vehicle, superannuation and professional development
