More Than $7.5 Million Secured for Local Road Safety Improvements

The Shire of Toodyay has welcomed more than $7.5 million in State Government funding through the second tranche of the Regional Road Safety Program (RRSP) to deliver important safety improvements on two of our local roads.

The funding includes:

  • Toodyay-Bindi Bindi Road$3,560,272
  • Julimar Road$3,974,722

A total of $7,534,994 has been allocated with works to include sealed road shoulders and audible edge and centre line treatments designed to reduce the risk of run-off-road and head-on crashes.

The Regional Road Safety Program supports making our regional roads safer for everyone, including local residents, emergency services, visitors, and freight operators

These works will enhance the safety and resilience of two important roads within the Shire, supporting safer travel for the community and all who visit the region.

The Shire welcomes this investment by the State Government and looks forward to seeing these important road safety improvements delivered.
