A warm welcome to Ms Meredith Taylor

I’d like to extend a warm welcome to our new Executive Manager Economic Development & Community Services, Meredith Taylor.

With more than 12 years’ experience in regional local government, Meredith brings a wealth of knowledge in communications, marketing, community development, engagement, and team leadership. She has held senior roles with the Shires of Gingin, Lake Grace and Coolgardie, as well as 10 years’ program management experience with the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Her background means she understands the unique challenges and rewards of working in rural and remote communities.

O
riginally a country girl from the Shire of West Arthur, Meredith has always been passionate about supporting rural and regional WA. She has built a reputation for excellence and is pleased to be bringing that energy and expertise to Toodyay.

“I’ve always loved working in rural communities, but the Wheatbelt holds a special place in my heart,” says Meredith. “I’m really looking forward to connecting with the Toodyay Shire community and serving this beautiful region - and contributing to the great work already happening here.”
