2025 Local Government Election – Candidates Elected Unopposed

The Shire of Toodyay is pleased to announce the results of the 2025 Local Government Election. The following candidates have been elected unopposed to serve as Councillors:

• Simon Van Der Heyden– Term of office until October 2029
• Raymond Mills– Term of office until October 2029
• Steven McCormick– Term of office until October 2029
• Michael McKeown– Term of office until October 2029

The Shire congratulates each candidate on their appointment and looks forward to them being officially sworn in on Monday, 20 October 2025 at 5.00pm.

A Special Council Meeting will be held on the same day at 5.30pm, during which the positions of Shire President and Deputy Shire President will be determined.

The Shire looks forward to working collaboratively with the incoming Council to continue delivering strong governance, community engagement, and strategic leadership for the benefit of all residents.
