The Shire of Toodyay warmly invites you to attend the official launch of our upcoming exhibition, Toodyay Railways: A Tale of Two Lines, presented as part of the National Trust Heritage Festival.

This exhibition explores the significant role two separate railway lines played in shaping the Toodyay township from 1887. Visitors will discover the structural and social history of the railways, including the construction of bridges, the engineering feat of the Windmill Hill Cutting, and the challenges faced through floods, rail accidents, and the loss of important buildings and heritage.
