ROAD CLOSURE Hamersley Street

For those that travel along Hamersley Street and the heavy vehicle bypass, it will come as a welcome relief to know that works are underway to rectify the harsh transition over the railway crossing after the tracks were raised last year. The project is being undertaken by a mix of Shire staff and contractors and will require a period of road closure at the time of asphalt works. We are anticipating Hamersley Street to be closed until Friday, 15 May 2020. Variable message boards will be in place advising of any upcoming traffic impacts.
