Duidgee Park was filled with excited families on Sunday 20 September. The Paint Toodyay REaD Egg Hatching event saw kids given free books to read to the red egg. Before too long the egg hatched into a beautiful dragon to everyone’s delight. The dragon then read to the group before taking a stroll up to the Farmers Markets. Congratulations to the Toodyay Early Years Network for organising the fantastic initiative and encouraging Toodyay kids to read.
