CANCELLATION OF ALL NON-ESSENTIAL MEETINGS AND PUBLIC GATHERINGS

As you would be aware there has been a recent outbreak of a virus called Coronavirus (COVID 19).

In response to public health concerns about the spread of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus), the Shire of Toodyay has made the precautionary decision to cancel all non-essential meetings and public gatherings.

Community Information Sessions will be cancelled until further notice.

  • Cancelled 18 March 2020 - Morangup Community Centre
  • Cancelled 2 May 2020 - Toodyay Community Centre
  • Cancelled 10 June 2020 - Bejoording Community Hall
  • Cancelled 18 July 2020 - Morangup Community Centre
  • Cancelled 2 September 2020 - Toodyay Community Centre
  • Cancelled 28 November 2020 - Bejoording Community Hall

We are closely monitoring the situation and adhering to government advice and guidelines. The Department of Health is lead agency for distribution of information on the disease and responses.

The Department of Premier and Cabinet has established a specific Coronavirus Pandemic Coordination Unit to liaise across agencies, businesses and Local Governments in enacting the State Pandemic Plan.
