Notification – Slaughterhouse Bridge Width/Speed Limit Reduction

The Shire wishes to advise residents and road users that, following a recent inspection of Slaughterhouse Bridge on Toodyay West Road – and acting on advice from Main Roads WA – the bridge’s width will be restricted to a three-metre wide centre lane from Monday 24 April 2023. A speed reduction to 40kph will also be implemented across the bridge until further assessment has occurred. 

Please observe all measures in place on site (see diagram below for further details).
