The Shire wishes to advise residents that the Water Corporation will be upgrading Toodyay’s water network, including hydrants and valves, in early February 2023.
This essential work will take approximately one week to complete, and will replace ageing infrastructure to help prevent leaks/breaks and improve the security and reliability of the town’s water supply.
No supply interruptions are expected as a result of these upgrades. Should a temporary interruption be required, the Water Corporation will provide at least 48 hours’ written notice to those affected and aim to keep the interruption as brief as possible (no longer than six hours). Some residents may experience an increase in vehicle activity and construction noise in their area while this work occurs.
Traffic Management Plans will be in place where necessary. Please observe all management measures you encounter.
