Due to seasonal conditions, the Shire of Toodyay has EXTENDED the RESTRICTED BURNING PERIOD until & including 14/05/2024, with further extension possible. No Burning allowed without a valid permit.

The Federal Government has announced that a referendum will be held in the second half of 2023 - most likely between October and December - with Toodyay Memorial Hall acting as the Shire's polling place on voting day.
The Australian Electoral Commission is offering various polling place employment opportunities to Toodyay locals. All positions are paid and no experience is required.
