After considerable and integral input from Shire staff, Councillors, and the local community, Toodyay's Plan for the Future 2023-2033 is complete – and will be officially launched on Friday August 4.
This plan combines our Strategic Community Plan and Corporate Business Plan into a single document that will guide us for the next decade, providing a blueprint for future projects and services. Through the five core categories of People, Planet, Place, Prosperity, and Performance, the plan describes:
- A future vision for the Shire;
- How we will achieve and resource our objectives; and
- How our success will be measured and reported.
While it is a long-ranging document, it will be regularly reviewed to ensure we are addressing the evolving needs of Toodyay’s residents, ratepayers, and visitors.
We invite all community members to join us as we launch the Plan: providing an overview of how it was created, outlining the key priorities identified, and explaining some of the projects included for implementation in the near future. Complimentary drinks and nibbles will be on offer, with Councillors and staff available to discuss any specific queries or ideas following the launch.
