Hello Toodyay Community - My name is Daniel Hobley, and I am the new Community Development Officer at the Shire of Toodyay. Having been born and raised in the farming community of Nyabing in Western Australia, I feel very fortunate to once again be a part of a thriving country town after spending my recent professional career in Perth. In brief, my career has taken me in a unique direction with time spent on the family farm, in broadcasting, television, remote Indigenous communities and in education as a teacher. In life doing a full circle, I am now in week six of my next challenge and see my role as being a supportive connection piece for our Toodyay community and sporting groups, so we remain strong and active going forward. I would like to thank the Toodyay community in making me feel so welcome. I look forward to meeting you all soon in a professional and social manner.
