Rate concessions

Pensioner/Senior

To receive a concession a person must hold one or more of the appropriate Pensioner or Seniors cards and, on 1 July of the financial year, own and occupy a residential property as their ordinary place of residence. You will need to pay the due amount indicated on your notice by 30 June of the current financial year.

The deferment option is only available to Pensioners eligible to claim the capped 50% rebate.  Seniors and Part Pensioners must finalise their account by the end of the financial year.

Please note: Service charges eg. Rubbish Collection, Waste Transfer Station and Pool Inspection Fee are NOT eligible for a rebate and must be paid by the due date.  These charges are subject to legal action if they remain unpaid.
