The Shire has a new Bushfire Ready Group operating in the Majestic Heights, Majestic Waters, Vernon Hills and Lozanda Heights subdivision areas. Bush fire ready groups are driven by the members of the community with support from Department of Fire and Emergency Services and the Shire.
Bushfire Ready groups are a great way of learning more about and managing the risks associated with bushfire, from fellow residents. If you live in Acacia Close, Adenanthus Road, Broadground Place, Drummondi Drive, Fargo Way, Harvester Drive, Hatfield Road, Hemiandra Place, Hibbertia Place, Hovea Way, Pindi Place, Racecourse Road, Sandplain Road, Sesselis Road, Smokebush Way, Stirlingia Drive or Wandoo Circle, you are encouraged to register with the group by emailing John Hansen on 2jbushfireready@gmail.com for inclusion in future correspondence and activities.
