Your say on Toodyay: View our MARKYT® Community Scorecard Survey results

The Shire is currently reviewing its Plan for the Future, which describes the community’s aspirations and priorities, and the actions we will need to take to meet local needs. The revised plan, compiled in collaboration with strategic planning agency Catalyse, will direct Shire activities for the next 5-10 years.

Last year’s Let’s Talk sessions and MARKYT® Community Scorecard survey formed part of this process, allowing for invaluable community feedback and discussion – thank you to everyone who attended the sessions and completed the survey.

The Community Scorecard results are now available to view. These results include all the information gathered via the survey, from your ratings on Shire liveability and governance to community services, communication channels and much more.

The next step in informing our Plan for the Future is the FUTYR® Community Workshops we are running on Wednesday March 29 from 6.00pm-8.00pm and Thursday March 30 from 9.00am-11.00am. These workshops will provide an overview of the Community Scorecard results and review suggested actions for meeting community needs. They will also cover a range of priority topics, including health, senior/family/youth services, roads and public transport, conservation and sustainability, and economic prosperity.

You are invited to attend either or both workshops to hear about the outcomes of the community engagement undertaken and the priorities that have emerged, and to provide further feedback if desired. Registrations are essential, so click here to secure your spot.

We look forward to continuing to work with the community to form our Plan for the Future. If you have any questions about this process, the Community Scorecard report, or the Community Workshops, please contact us.
