New shade sails at Toodyay DHS inspire sun safe play

Students at Toodyay District High School can play more safely in the sun thanks to the installation of shade sails over the nature playground on the oval.

Toodyay DHS P&C celebrates the completion of the first of three playground shade installations, a partnership between the school and the P&C which contributed $4,000 towards the project.

Following a successful application to CBH’s most recent grass roots grants program, the P&C can announce that we have secured $2,450 to install shade sails over the early childhood playground in term two.

The third and final shade sail is planned to be installed before the commencement of term three.

Mother’s day stall provides gifts for Mums

The P&C hosted a Mother’s day stall at school on Friday 7 May stall for students to buy a gift for their Mum or mother figure in their lives. Thanks to gift donations for the stall, students took home a gift for Mum and helped to raise funds for the school.
