The Shire wishes to advise that commencing late January 2023, Chalice Mining Ltd. will be undertaking exploration drilling activity in the Bejoording area, on privately-owned land, for an approximate six-week period.
This drilling activity will take place north of Bejoording (see image below) and will comply with the Environmental Protection (Noise) Regulations 1997. It will occur during daylight hours, seven days a week, with reduced hours on Sundays.
Conducted using Chalice’s granted exploration licence (E70/5350), this drilling forms part of their current works program from the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DMIRS).
