As part of the Shire of Toodyay’s Capital Works Program, an 850m section of Toodyay Street (Continuing on to Toodyay West Road) will be reconstructed. Works involve the installation of piped drainage, road widening and adjusting levels to prevent water ponding. The existing footpath will be extended along Toodyay Street to Reserve Road, and a walkable gravel shoulder will then be provided for the remaining distance to Harcourt Street.
As part of it 2020/2021 Capital Works Program, Shire of Toodyay has appointed a contractor to demolish and replace the existing three span timber bridge on Bindi Bindi Toodyay Road, 14km north of Toodyay.
Permits are required and are currently only being issued for the burning of stubble and chaff for crop preparation purposes for Primary producers.
