10th Light Horse Brigade Visit
Past Event
There will be both two-footed and four-footed tourists in town on Sunday February 26, as the 10th Light Horse Regiment pays Toodyay a visit as part of a training weekend.
The regiment will set up on Stirling Terrace from 9.00am-12.00pm, with a memorabilia display in Stirling Park, 10.00am walk down the main street to the Memorial Hall, and photo opportunities outside Connor’s Mill all on the calendar.
They will also spend their time in Toodyay filming a documentary about their history – dating back to World War I – at locations such as the Newcastle Gaol Museum precinct.
If you’re in town on the day, make sure you don’t miss out on seeing the light horses and their troopers in action. They will be happy to engage with residents and visitors throughout the morning.
