The Shire of Toodyay aims to keep the community informed on a range of issues through media releases and advertising. For example, Council may advertise road closures, disposal of property, road works, prohibited burning times and positions vacant.

As Council develops policies, strategies and other strategic documents they are advertised for public comment. Similarly, Council will advertise proposed developments within the Shire for public comment.
