Local Laws

The Local Government Act permits each local government to make local laws to assist in carrying out its functions and powers in its district.  The Shire of Toodyay operates under the following list of current local laws.

It should be noted that any contravention of these local laws can lead to prosecution.

and Regional Development maintains a Register of Local Laws.  This register records details of when each law was made, amended or repealed.
