Toodyay Memorial Hall

The foundation stone for the front of the Toodyay Memorial Hall was laid in 1899, when the building was constructed for the Municipal Chambers of the Toodyay Road Board. The building was extended in 1910 and again in 1990.

The venue is ideal for conferences, workshops, theatre productions and weddings etc. It is magnificently decorated and includes the following: 

  • Foyer (capacity 57 persons)
  • Auditorium (capacity 235 persons)
  • Stage
  • Fully equipped commercial kitchen
  • Bar
  • Modern audio visual equipment, including 3m x 4m screen

Community Centre

The Toodyay Community Centre, located at 79 Stirling Terrace, offers a wide range of facilities and services for use by groups and individuals.

Meeting Rooms

There are two meeting rooms available for hire that can be opened into one larger meeting room, dependent on requirements. Capacities for the rooms are 80 persons and 60 persons or a total of 140 persons.

Child Care Facilities

The Community Centre has a child care facility that is utilised by the Toodyay Playgroup on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Please see the Community Groups in the Community Services section of our website for contact details.

Toy Library

The Toodyay Toy Library operates from the Community Centre on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Please see the Community Groups in the Community Services section of out website for contact details.

Community Resource Centre

The Toodyay Community Resource Centre is a not-for-profit organisation with the majority of funding being sourced from the Department of Regional Development as well as the Royalties for Regions program. 

Toodyay Community Resource Centre (formerly Toodyay Telecentre) was established in 1998 and is a proud member of the Western Australia Community Resource Network.  The Toodyay CRC is an initial gateway to public information technology services in Western Australia. Toodyay CRC's extensive range of services include access to Westlink, Centrelink, Medicare, internet, email, and video conferencing. Showground Pavilion

The Shire of Toodyay's Showground Pavilion is a popular venue for hosting a wide range of events and activities. Strategically located between the football/cricket oval and the hockey field, the Pavilion includes a large meeting room (capacity 100 persons), a bar and a commercial kitchen.

Morangup Community Centre

The locality of Morangup consists of Rolling Green, Regal Hill, Gidgegannup Springs and Morangup Hill.  The Community Centre is available for groups to meet and hold activities. 

The facility has a commercial kitchen, half basketball court and newly installed playground equipment. 

The facility is managed by the Morangup Progress Association and has the capacity to hold 210 persons.  Bookings can be made by contacting Kathy Pearson - 9572 9003

 

Youth Hall

The Toodyay Youth Hall is located at the Showgrounds/Oval, off Toodyay Street and is managed by the Youth Hall Committee. The facility is particularly suitable for youth activities and is currently used by the Karate and Scouts groups and various other activities.
