Council Committees
The Shire of Toodyay appoints Committees of Council that are required to address specific issues on behalf of the Council. These are advisory committees and the meetings are not open to the public. All committees have Councillor representation and report on their activities and recommendations at Ordinary Council meetings.

Bushfire Advisory Committee
| To provide advice to the local government on matters pertaining to obligations contained within the Bush Fires Act, organising, managing, resourcing and training volunteer bush fire brigades.

Museum Advisory Committee | To provide guidance and assistance to the local government on matters affecting or impacting the collection, interpretation or display of the museum’s compilation.
