AvonLink

Phase 2 of the track works in the Avon Valley between Moondyne and Jumperkine are scheduled to occur between October and December this year. It is anticipated that this will be the final stage for these track works.

These are the services in the middle of the day. The commuter services (06:30 am out of Northam and 5:50 pm out of Midland) will run as normal

As a result the following Avon Link services will be cancelled and operated by road coaches instead.

About the AvonLink Train Service

The AvonLink provides one of the most comfortable commuter train rides in Australia with air conditioning throughout, access to power points for laptop computers, free WiFi and footrests. The service is accessible for person's using a disabled conveyance including bathroom facilities. 

The newly enhanced service now operates 28 trips per week (14 return services).

This new service will provide three return trips between Northam and Midland (via Toodyay) on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and one return service on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Tickets for the AvonLink may be purchased on-board and bookings are not required; however it is a cash only service (credit card and EFTPOS facilities are not available for the purchase of tickets). Alternatively, you can purchase your ticket in advance at the Toodyay Visitors Centre, 7 Piesse Street Toodyay.

AvonLink services to/from Northam via Toodyay depart and arrive Midland Station - Platform 1.
