Bush Fire Advisory Committee was created to provide advice to the Council on matters pertaining to obligations within the Bush Fires Act and the organising, managing, resourcing and training of volunteer bush fire brigades.
Museum Advisory Committee is to provide guidance and assistance to the Council on matters affecting the Shire museum's.
Amongst other things, the purpose of the Local Emergency Management Committee is to advise and assist Council in ensuring local emergency management arrangements are in place.
The Environmental Advisory Committee was created to provide advice to Council on the implementation of the environmental strategy.The committee is also tasked with developing relevant documents including policies, strategies, leaflets, pamphlets or booklets consistent with the environmental strategy for consideration by Council and providing advice on relevant matters referred to it by Council.
Audit Committee means an audit committee established under section 7.1A of the Local Government Act 1995.The Audit Committee has specific functions to follow that are set out in Regulation 16 of the Local Government (Audit) Regulations 1996.
